On 9/19 Michael Dei Maggi went on-air with CNN 650 to announce the opening of The Rockwood Room in Houston, Texas. Chef Michael brought two dishes to the show so that we could get a peek (and a taste!) of what we can expect to see on the menu: Lobster Thermidor and an Akaushi beef steak with cream peppercorn sauce. (Akaushi is an American Kobi-like beef, raised in Texas).

Wines to pair with these dishes are: Far Niente 2007 Chardonnay Napa Valley and Turnbull 2005 Black Label Red Wine Napa Valley Oakville.
